*DISCLAIMER* When it comes to GPU Mining, remember Silicon Lottery! Results MAY vary from GPU to GPU so your Clocks/Undervolt/Voltage shown in my videos may not work for you because of GPU Brand/Memory/Manufacturing what have you. Temperatures and your Cooling methods will also play the part and have an affect. Test at your OWN RISK and do your OWN RESEARCH.

Profitability will decrease for minable coins to begin with after 1559, but once those coins are used for more transactions their values should go up. I would look to alternate coins to mine now in the hopes the prices per coin goes up. It’s a gamble for sure but if the rigs are already paid off there isn’t a lot to lose, but the upside is huge, IMO.
I underestimated the use of the CMP’s. I thought the only people who were going to buy them were gonna be newbie hashers, but the reality was they basically produced them specifically to fill the super mass mining market. Not too bad.
Since February 22nd when I started Mining (again-last time was 2017) with a 1070ti, I dropped using NiceHash after the Phoenix Miner fiasco and moved to Ethermine, and now have 2 3070’s, a 2080, a 1080 and the 1070ti, so I contribute ~220MH/s to the Ethermine TH increases this month 🙂
Yes, I paid well over MSRP for all, but 2 were dropped/”unsure if working” on ebay, I figure GPU’s won’t be available for another 8+ months so I can sell the 10 series while they are priced high- after a few months of mining eth to fund a newfound altcoin addiction lol
I’ve just got into mining again. last mined on a single 1060 around ~4 years ago. picked up 7x 470s and 4x 570s 4gbs for around $55 a piece 2nd hand. wont be doing Eth but RVN is still pretty profitable for me. whole rig should ROI in about 4-5 months (not just the GPUs) . better late than never.
@itsKyleee from a miner who is upgrading. Pricing doesn’t quite translate that well from ZAR to USD so its more or less
$55 a piece? Where?
@Wes best of luck.
@Aky Vlogs mine hasn’t arrived yet. Doesnt look like it will be here this week. Afox ib250-btc 12. Cant find any info on it but also couldn’t get hold of any name brand mining boards. So taking a bit of a risk
Which motherboard are you using?
I actually watch the whole thing!! Very informative.
Question: Have anyone experimented with Staking their ETH in pools yet? If so whats the profit percentage per day on average?
Made it to the end!!?
What would be good mining software moving forward with the potential of Eth becoming mostly POS… I have noticed lots of miners like different software. Personally tried NiceHash and didn’t like it at all and currently using Cudo however feel it’s really limited in selecting other coins for mining. Only able to get eth mind with 8 Rx580 GPUs. Other options on Cudo keep to say not suitable for GPU cards… I would like to start learning a better program now, to be ready when Ethereum is a true POS coin in both aspects of the term. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Keep up the good work and these “The State of Ethereum Mining” are great!
Awesome videos man. Glad to have a great Canadian content provider
Another awesome update video. Thank you I love this!
I’ve been watching your videos for 6 months now and I’ve learned a lot. Love the videos keep it up!! I’m going to start my own set up now
One thing I’m wondering about these ancient GPUs in new mining cards, is hashrate really all there is to results(shares)? I have a 2080 super which is giving me a hashrate of about 38 Mh/s, generated 601 shares in 1 day 19 hours. I have a 3070 which has a hashrate of 55 MH/s, and has 482 shares in a day. Is it just the hashrate that is the difference between these, or is there something more to this. This is what worries me on these low tier HX units is that the hashrate might not have the results that it’s hashrate says it should generate. PS this is both units mining ETH on nanominer.
I believe that either after implementing 1559 eth price gonna up further then current price or after merging eth1, eth2 (PoS).
i am with you Red Panda. This video series is one of my best. awesome stuff
Watch it all the way a lot of great information thanks for taking your time to do these videos monthly!!!
They bought the 30hx. It will take an estimated 8 weeks to manufacture from order time. I know a person who works for the distributor they bought from.
Got to the end! 😉 nice vid as always! Currently mining conflux, but wondering which altcoin to mine next! Ty for great content from Dk.
Yo i have a question, i started mining with my 2080ti that i used to have for gaming, it acctually gave me between 55 and 59 MH/s on 138 watts. Now i bought an extra 2060 super that i also installed in my (gaming) pc. But suddenly my 2080ti uses 230 watts while the hashrates came down to just 50MH/s. While the just installed 2060 super uses 138 watts for 35MH/s (all in nicehash). Any idea on how this happend and on how to fix this? Bumping my watts with an extra 230 for 25MH/s doesnt feel worth for a 500eu card. Also the temperature of my 2080ti increased from 58 degrees to 75 degrees (that has probably something to do with the watts i think). Would really appreciate a fix! If some1 things he can help, please reply!
Deleted my driver and dowloaded an older version. This was the fix, thanks a lot for your comment!
@ManslayerAO Thanks a lot for your reply! I did indeed dowload the newest driver with the installation of my new rtx 2060 super. How can i go back to the old driver and what do you mean with WHQL?
If you’re using NiceHash Quick Miner, it’s the latest Nvidia drivers that kill it. You also need the WHQL version of the old drivers.
Love your insights! What are your thoughts on chainlink? is it worth mining once Ethereum 1.0 expired?
Panda, do you have a video about what asic miner would you recommend to get right now ? There are quite a few in ebay (can’t find any in their original websites)
Just discovered your channel. Great videos! Thank you. I am on the trade side of crypto (and derivatives in the stock market). Market seems bullish this year, I don’t think a long bear market is in the horizon.
