I have tremendous respect to Mike Saylor. He is a genius and understand the intricacies of the finance world. He also regularly mention “grandchildren”, that tells you he is a responsible family man who plans in the generational time frame.

He’s the commander, and i feel like im one of his generals getting my marching orders. Ayr Aye, Captain Saylor!!!!

His understanding of economics, business, and technology make him fundamentally ready to intimately understand this at all levels.

Sarebbe interessante se qualcuno doppiasse in italiano questa bellissima intervista di Michael Saylor dove fa capire molto bene le motivazioni che lo hanno portato a credere nel BTC, sarebbe utile a tutti gli utenti italiani!

I’ve moved a lot of my gold investments into bitcoin and ethereum. But, I do think there will be a time within a few years, maybe even in a year to get out. At the moment, I don’t believe holding it forever will be the right thing to do. With technology moving so fast and we’re at the cusp of quantum computers, AI, graphene, genomics and the intersection of some of these things, I can’t see how bitcoin can last. I’m just riding the wave. But, something new and better will surely be developed.

I wish someone would do a video about the “get a loan on your bitcoin” deal and Debt to Equity. A real life example of how that would work. Do you have to refinance the loan every year?

    1. Jeff P

You refinance immediately. The services that provide this require you to put up 100-150 times the amount of USD you are borrowing in BTC. If BTC drops then you have to immediately pay cash back to get you to that 100x BTC (or you add BTC collateral). If you don’t pay back they sell your BTC and you are liquidated.
