Ethereum Outlook

Time to provide a general market outlook for #Ethereum. While I know general market sentiment is bad, I would be remiss if I did not at least carry through with the same analysis we have followed for the entire year. Is #Ethereum just in a macro range between $2k-$4k with brief periods spent outside of it an ultimate long consolidation that will eventually send us higher? Or is this a macro peak that will send us much lower? Where do you think the price of #Ethereum is going? Let me know in the comments!

I drew the similar scenario but with a different view, dubious based on Fib retracement and past rally performance. Nice to see the same dubious price targets (low & high). Buy order is set, lets hope this will play out.

I’m in a regular DCA mode for both my BTC and ETH buys. I had a solid plan for the widely speculated $100K plus BTC by the end of the year. I was watching your lengthening cycles content and wishing you were wrong. However, since that didn’t play out I’ve have adjusted my plan a bit. I now am really excited that if this ranging of BTC and ETH at these lower levels my DCA’s going forward will really help me load up the bags that I would not have been able to do had the prices gone up too quickly. As long as I focus on the amount of BTC and ETH I have and not get too hung up on the daily dollar value I am good. Sats and eth for the long term win. Cheers?

I understand this approach but I would suggest a slightly more dynamic approach. Don’t get me wrong, for the most part I’ve been doing exactly what you describe but now is a great time to start getting smarter – it’s not even very technical or difficult to do.
I think you should decrease your current DCA amounts so that you can have some cash on hand to *increase* your DCAs at lower points. Make no mistake, the market will fall further. This approach is *actually* how you are meant to DCA and Ben has shown it on the channel (remember the 1y + 2y + 3y… thing? If you are in the band where you should be doing 1y, don’t be doing a 3y!)

Honestly ETH can go to $100 and it would not change my conviction towards the asset class or entire crypto blockchain ecosystems. My portfolio would be a dumpster fire, but as long as my asset values remain above $0, I plan to navigate the swings. I’m in this asset class for decades to come. I will be buying more ETH and BTC in this market dip. Time is on our sides. Thanks for your insight as always Ben.

Guys doesn’t matter what’s going to happen just go to work and earn your money and save as much as you can and if we were to enter a long bear market and 69k was in fact the top (i don’t believe that personally but can’t rule it out 100% at this point) we’ll have plenty of time and cash to buy in the bear market and make a lot of money over the next few years, it’ll be gigantic compared to how much some of you may be down right now. Remember nobody who held Btc for 4 years straight was not in profit. That’s the absolute worst case but i think we’ll come out of this long sideways movement later this year so i’m already buying a bit.

I unsubscribed 6 months ago, with all the talk of battlegrounds and playing the sandbox. The content has much improved, and I find the Heikin-Ashi candles essential to a wider outlook.

Thanks for this Ben – it’s difficult to unpick emotions from analysis at times like this but, of course, they are inexplicably linked! Your videos are helping us so much – as our portfolios bleed against the universe!

Thanks for the reality check Ben. We often lose sight of the long range potential because of fear generated from short term volatility. To those feeling like the sky is falling, I suggest developing a strategy for managing risk and looking to reinvest at lower levels to recoup any losses incurred.

Haven`t really thought about that fractal, but thinking about it now, it would coincide with the merge planned this summer. Normally pre-pricing would start a few months ahead, so a giga rally could start april/may, unless the world has gone to hell in the meantime

Excellent content. This downtrend will end, we just need to weather this storm. When you can, DCA at these discounts. Better days ahead and we will have appreciation for this opportunity.

The point you make towards the end about being able to handle the volatility is so good. I’m in this because I cannot possibly hope to achieve my goals in life with the fiat money that I have, no matter how much I work. If I lose all of it, it was as if I never had it to begin with anyway. If I make a lot of money, then I can live moderately comfortably.

Ben, do you think there is a possibility of Ether going up in Q2 considering how the macroeconomic picture seems to point to stocks going down this year? Do you think the earlier sideways movement, dips and peaks in Ether coincide with the macroeconomic status during those periods?
