Minute 9 seconds on the meaning of life ??
Half of your views is me falling a sleep youtube on and the next video is always you 😀 Weird loop. Honestly. Been like this for month. You are the voice to whom I fall sleep to every day.
Great guest, now about that question of existential threat to humanity from tech dictatorship????
Where is the timestamp for Ratatouille discussion? 😀
@DGiovanni are you a woman? His beard is obviously not ten inches long pal.
Fantastic interview ! Youre doing really well as doing this exercice
The quality of the guests and interviews on this podcast are outstanding. Lex really turned out to be a very interesting interviewer, getting the best out if these gifted guests.
@wickedtoast how so?
I have to watch @ 1.5 speed.
john paul computer science
Can someone tell me what major did Lex do in college? I’m talking about the bachelors degree.
Lex Fridman is an extremely underrated interviewer. He is an extremely intelligent, professional host. He asks the questions we all have thought of, but have never had the chance to ask. Just beautiful interviews. Thank you.
He also has a well-connected father
@WhispiringEyes YT it if you haven’t already ,amazing
@Mark Emery I haven’t. Is he good??
Lex: *AI researcher working on autonomous vehicles, human-robot interaction, and machine learning at MIT and beyond, and interviewer
@Espen Lillejord I don’t think you need to “attack their views” to provide pushback. Pushing back on comments can lead to a deeper or more specific dialogue imo
Lex, thank you for continually checking your interpretation of your guest’s words with them, it usually leads to a more refined, more insightful answer. I thank you because it would be so much easier for you to just agree with them and move on, nodding along, regardless of whether or not you were certain the two of you are on the same page. It isn’t easy to continually submit yourself to being honest, especially with the calibre of your guests, and asking for clarification but it almost always leads to better content.
Keep up the good work plz
Hello Lex,
I love your podcast and your MIT lectures on deep learning too.
I am from Ethiopia, and Jack is right about the continent Africa’s problem.
I hope digital currency will solve this problem someday soon.
Love to see Lex as a host that can handle wrestling with serious minds. Joe on the other side has an audience that relates more to the “Dionysian” way of reasoning and acting. No wonder Joe was struggling making Elon feel as if he is in the right place with the support of alcohol. Either way, the world is a better place now that we have access to both Lex and Joe’s work. Thank you.
Lex this podcast has not just the best guests, but the best host as well. monumental dubs.
Jack Dorsey is far from the best. He’s the worst.
Can someone tell me what major did Lex do in college? I’m talking about the bachelors degree.
Its like an intelligent version of Rogan. I know this because I only understand about 20% of it!
I love the Jeff Bezos star trek profile image
Great interview! You’re getting better and better with each episode!
These are historic level podcasts. Incredible stuff.
Lex Fridman is one of those people who’s voice actually matches their face.
I have listened to his podcast for years, so when I finally saw his face, I was like, “Yeah, that seems about right.”
I was just flipping through some interviews that I hadn’t seen and I really started to notice how much the last year has taken a toll on everyone. It’s like we did a decade of ‘growing up’ or matured or whatever you want to call it in just one year. Covid aged us all.
Watching interviews like this gives me hope for the future of mankind. Thank you!
I’ve enjoyed watching Lex, his rapport with guests and this overall audience grow over the years. Jack was a stellar guest for this show and Lex allowed him to feel comfortable enough to open up in ways other interviewers have not (others center on Twitter instead of changing up the dynamic). This is my second time watching this. I like being able to feel the wheels turning when both of these gentleman speak . They value the graceful ebb and flow mature conversations reflect. It’s interesting to note which sections I centered on this time around based on what I’ve learned since the 1st viewing and what we’re experiencing globally during the pandemic. Well done, Lex and Jack.
The guests recently have been nothing short of outstanding.
Thanks, Lex!
Lex, thank you for your podcasts.
They are an inspiration and they are a valuable insight of how many of your gifted guests see the world and reason about it.
Jack ended the conversation with such a savvy and apt joke!
Great Interview Lex!!
Great job Lex! You are my favourite podcaster, would love to see round 2 with Jack.
Lex, thank you for all the great podcasts! You are helping show people the light in “the craziest of places…” You’re helping a lot of people look at it right. A horrible paraphrase, from a great Grateful Dead song : )
The cryptocurrency and ego conversation was brilliant. I took a lot from that. I think the perspectives that Jack offers is beyond needed.
