Check out the ORIGINAL CrazyDane Bitcoin and cryptocurrency solar mining farm video tour here, where Peter was mining over $300 dollars a day!!!!

Using solar panels to generate electricity is the most exciting and environmentally friendly way to mine Bitcoin, Ethereum, and any other cryptocurrencies. Peter aka CrazyDane has been building out MASSIVE solar panel arrays for mining cryptocurrency! Peter has created these solar mining plans all himself, he sets up the solar panels and runs all of the associated wiring and electrical work and then he even builds his own custom cryptocurrency mining rigs. Peter has been GPU mining crypto with solar power for years now, and he is mining very profitability here in 2020, and with an electric cost of ZERO when the sun is up, he will be mining profitably in 2021, 2022, and well forever basically! Let's review his solar powered mining farm and how what he learned in the process, because Peter shares an immense amount of knowledge on how to setup your own solar panels for residential use or industrial style mining as well as his experience mining cryptocurrency long-term!

    Pretty amazing.
One thing is the obvious reason for this for mining, but in essence, what this means is total freedom from greedy electrical companies.
I live in Europe and this is still expensive and in many countries mining is almost impossible due to KW/h costs.
Great content as always Vosk, thanks for sharing.

@Corey no apology necessary. i might have come off a bit combative or argumentative. wasn’t really intended that way. i was guessing it was just a way of saying old guy. and hey when you are 20, 45 is old 🙂

    2. Steve Winwood

@Corey well that explains a lot.

a 45yo is a gen x not the boomer generation. seems people are redefining the names of the generations. but i suppose it is just a term people use to call someone “old”.

i am 46 a gen x. my parents are mid 60’s they are from the boomer or baby boomer generation.

but it is what it is. i was curious to know how people were using term boomer. thanks for reply.

Micro inverters also have other pros as well. One goes out the system stays on and they convert the power at the panel. if the string inverter goes out the whole system goes down. Each setup however is different for the users need.

Love it. This video has a This Old House vibe. You guys gave us a beautiful tour. What a beautiful homestead replete with gorgeous views and powered by a clever, resourceful owner who loves to make things work. Thank you for this enjoyable tour.

I love his setup and jealous of the 25 1080Ti’s he’s running but my OCD hated the cable management. lol He had a lot of good info on the types of inverters too. I have looked into solar for my house before but the true ROI was BS. If you do this it would be a fantastic way to justify solar. I wish I had considered this before the credits ran out.

Wow nice setup, with all that open space a small low wind turbine could do well. I recently looked at one for my house and i’m waiting for the county to let me know if I can leqgally install one.

The only thing better is using Hydro power generation coupled with ram pumps where needed to keep head pressure tanks at capacity & Wind power generation… Diverting a river or stream to use the gravity to drive water turbines is not only ecologically friendly, it is a more constant flow as well as being “overflowed” during rain & storms that can be captured & stored/sold with an accommodating infrastructure.. Coupling ALL power generation technologies is the best method by including Solar with Hydro & Wind Turbines technologies. In comparison Hydro & Wind turbines have a much less environmental impact than Solar industries, especially with the utilization of Hydraulic Ram Pumps feeding each Head Pressure Tank./water tower… could even use saltwater in select locations when ram pumps need so little head pressure to lift water so high.. 1:7 ‘

Great result!!! I like it!!! As I know one rig from RX5700XT takes about 1.3 kWh. 9 Rigs takes more than 15 kWh. You’d better set up more power =5-7 kWh solar panels for winter? All electricity power wires lies according to Local Codes except for your rigs. But, music is great!!!

Just one ASIC pulling 3,250 watts would require 280 amps at 12 volts. You would need something like AWG350 copper cable (about .83 inches in diameter) to carry that much current, which could cost $11 per foot or more. Better to go higher voltage and lower current with lighter wire.

Had to give this a 2nd look. I saw some solar panels from China with a graphene layer that can generate electricity when it rains…The graphene layer causes a reaction when it gets wet causing it to generate electricity. I have not seen any companies in US talking about this development.
