He’s a genius. A likeable, humble and self-aware genius with a sense of humour. I wish him all the best.
? cheers to that

Until he sells out, then you won’t like him so much
@The TinkerMan he‘s not a genius, but he‘s more talented than lucky.
@Max David can anyone ever have too much “all the best” ?
Notice how he explains everything in simple terms and with examples that childs could understand. This shows that he really understands the stuff he is talking about.
课程十???????????中國?????
If you can’t simplify it then you don’t fully understand it…
@leoTheAmigo correct ?
i believe when someone doesnt know how to talk in a ‘child understandable way’ then you dont know what to talk about
As a business student, sometimes I get frustrated about all the theoretical stuff we have to study, but hearing Vitalik talking about them (public goods, tragedy of the commons, etc.) really motivate me to study and understand this concepts more in detail, cause they can be the foundation to build a new system!
Same but I am software engineering drop out
@Gillipollas Vitalik has a lecture where he basically analyzes Bitcoin as having started the field of cryptoeconomics, which is using economic concepts (e.g. game theory) to achieve a design goal in software. E.g. bitcoin uses mining as a economic system to achieve consensus, something not done with code alone, but as the resulting sum of human actions.
The theory behind computer science is your foundation. Now it’s time to implement those theories and concepts via code!
Yeah man! Fascinating
vitalik is a true gentleman. we don’t deserve him. can you imagine being so smart, so rich, and yet so humble.
why should you become aggresive if you rich?
@Lowkey Convert its because they know the game. If they arent humble, they will be vilified and not be able to achieve certain things

Man I love Vitalik’s brain. Also, the interviewer did a fantastic job. Literally asked questions that I had the moment they arose in my mind. A+

@Dank Mheems sad truth that BSC still costs 0.25 while being completely centralized…. You would think it’s 0.000
10/03/2022 ETH is $2 600/ R40 000, it’s 50% down from its all time high of $5 200/ R80 000 however this is still an early stage of cryptocurrencies. They still have a long way to go since businesses have started to adopt them.

There were some very tough questions asked in this Lex, you didn’t hold back. Vitalik blew my mind with his quick intellect. He could expand so much on the questions you were asking. Hats off to both of you, for a phenomenal interview!

*When it comes to the world of investing, most people don’t know where to start. Fortunately, great investors of the past and present can provide us with guidance*
@Nnanta fynecontry OMG. Kathy is your account manager? She is also mine.
I’m glad you know Mrs. Kathy trading services I was introduced to her by a colleague at the office, it’s been an awesome trading experience with her, now i make profits twice my monthly paycheck
Which package is better for a beginner
@Mary Teresa When I saw testimonies all over the place! thought it was made up stories till I was convinced and gave it a try and honestly I don’t regret the move I made because I invested in a big way
Lex, I found you on Rogan last year. I used to watch JRE every day, and have since switched to your podcast. I really appreciate the high level, intellectual conversations you have. And as a junior developer myself i love all of your dev podcasts. Keep up the great work
Me too, the greatest podcast
That’s great. Have you tried DMT?
Yeah, I used to listen to Joe Rogan every day. Now, maybe once every two months. His guests got boring.
This may be one of the best showings of Vitalik that I’ve seen to date. He is quite fascinating. I had the joy of sitting behind him at Microsoft Build even though we never met…and to think he was more consequential in his young life than all the other folks in that room. Wild stuff. I do like the quote at the end from Lex. I would like to find a Lex Parser someday.
This is such a good interview. Lex is asking some really asking some unique and very profound questions.
Very interesting conversation. This guy seems to be a decent human being and a genius. I wish him well in his endeavors.
So great to see you two in the same room. My mind is blown by Vitalik’s brilliance and humility. I’ve been buying Etherium for a few years and it’s good to know how he thinks.
What a Humble guy, wish him all the success with the eth project! Thanks Lex!
Vitalik, not only extremely intelligent, he seems like a very nice human being…..we common thinkers of the world are lucky to have him on our planet. ?

@Junk Bond Trader He’s a genuis. Likely has the highest IQ of anyone in history.
Pretty much a kid. But yeah, he’s just stoked on the tech, and seems confident, and chill. Definitely the type of leader people in crypto can appreciate.
Two brilliant, thoughtful, articulate people in conversation. Vitalik is clearly a compassionate being. Thanks to both of you.
Excellent content, thanks for sharing ??
You guys are reaching and teaching many. Externally grateful ?
I saw Vitalik in a documentary about Bitcoin, long before he had invented Etherium. Back then he was a guy going around talking about Bitcoin. Even more awkward and shy, he has come a long way and is now helping to reshape the world.
Does somebody have a working link to the documentary?
@[ Kris ] I don’t think he meant it as a negative thing. There’s nothing wrong with being in the spectrum
@[ Kris ] acceptance is a gain.
@[ Kris ] it is not a shame to be different. It is a shame to blame.
@Wiley CKoyote I would say most of engineers in the top level of tech are not neurotypical, just dont focus on it, it’s infuriating
Lex: “What is money ??”
Vitalik: “It’s a kind of game…”
he’s not wrong, society is just a game and if you make the right moves you can control it.
kinda game where you feed kitties to dragons..
